Elizabeth Galoozis holds a BA in English with a concentration in contemporary poetry from Amherst College, and an MS in library science from Simmons University. She was chosen by Claire Wahmanholm for AWP’s Writer to Writer Program in 2022. Elizabeth is a poetry reader for Abandon Journal and The Maine Review. Her poems have most recently appeared, or are forthcoming, in Pidgeonholes, The Indianapolis Journal, Witness, Fatal Flaw, Sweet, Sidereal Magazine, and Air/Light.

Elizabeth grew up in the Midwest and South, and now lives in Southern California with her wife, cat, and an abundance of fruit trees.
